Keeping Safe: Child Protection Curriculum (KS:CPC) Educator Course
Designed for School Leaders, Wellbeing Teams, Teachers & Support Staff
Overview: The Keeping Safe: Child Protection Curriculum (KS:CPC) is a child safety and respectful relationships curriculum providing age and developmentally appropriate activities for children and young people from birth to year 12 (age 17+).
KS:CPC Educator Course
The KS:CPC Educator course is the required training for teachers/educators to deliver the KS:CPC to students. Support staff are also welcome to attend.
- The KS:CPC Educator course is a one-day face-to-face training.
- The KS:CPC Educator course is facilitated as a whole-site training, which includes the opportunity to engage in whole-site planning.
- On completion of the Educator Course, trained staff will have access to the suite of resources required for delivery of KS:CPC to all year levels.
Date: Coordinated by request on an individual school basis
Location: Face-to-face (location based on school preference)
AITSL Standards: 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, 2.1, 2.2, 3.2, 3.4, 3.6, 3.7, 4.1, 4.3, 4.4, 6.1, 6.2, 6.3, 7.1, 7.2 and 7.3
Cost: This training is free to CRRE Pilot Schools - For non-pilot schools, costs will vary based on the location of the training.
