Introduction to Consent & Respectful Relationship Education (CRRE) - Session 1
Designed for All Staff
Overview: Facilitated by CRRE expert, Tasha Lawton and guest speakers from Shine SA and Keeping Safe: Child Protection Curriculum teams, Session 1 supports schools to implement a whole-school approach to Consent & Respectful Relationship Education (CRRE). It outlines the legal, moral and ethical obligations that underpin CRRE and provides practical tools to strengthen safe, consistent and culturally responsive practice.
SA/NT CRRE Pilot schools will form a panel to discuss CRRE implementation barriers, strategies and solutions.
This session provides an overview of the core components of CRRE and introduces the Our Watch and ACARA frameworks that guide whole-school implementation. It supports leaders to work with boards and staff to develop the vision, mandate and context for CRRE delivery.
