AISNT is a not‑for‑profit umbrella organisation representing 26 Independent schools and 36 campuses across the Northern Territory. These Schools play a vital role in the Territory’s education landscape, contributing to student success, community connection, and educational choice.

During this last week I have been struck by how my thoughts, seemingly unrelated to teaching, have led to constructive thoughts on education. The first arose out of further thought on a project my Son- in- Law is deeply involved in called Wilya Janta.
A couple of weeks ago I visited 10 schools as a member of the Block Grant Authority Priorities Committee. All schools were really interesting, and all had a good story to tell. All are faithfully serving NT communities and most face, like all schools, significant challenges.
