Wellbeing Masterclass
Session 2:
Self and Co-regulation
Designed for School Leaders, Wellbeing Teams, Teachers & Support Staff
Join school leaders and educators to unlock practical strategies that embed whole-school wellbeing, focusing on sustainable change, measurable outcomes, and creating lasting impact across school culture, policy, and daily practice for children and young people, staff, and the wider school community.
Overview:
This session will focus on key aspects of self and co-regulation within a whole school wellbeing context, led by expert Dr Natasha Marsten, Manager, headspace Practice Development and facilitated by the Be You team. Healthy emotional regulation in children and adults will lead to us feeling more confident and capable, and it will support stronger relationships. It will enable us to be able to pay more attention, learn new things, and cope with the normal ups and downs of life.
Participants will engage with related components of the Be You Framework, guiding you to embed the most relevant resources and evidence-informed strategies into every layer of school life – from culture and leadership to policies and classroom practice.
Description:
Join AISNT and AISSA staff and member schools, alongside NT and SA Be You Teams and national headspace experts to explore practical strategies for embedding self and co-regulation strategies across the whole school.
