Designed for School Leaders, Wellbeing Teams, Teachers & Support Staff

Join school leaders and educators to unlock practical strategies that embed whole-school wellbeing, focusing on sustainable change, measurable outcomes, and creating lasting impact across school culture, policy, and daily practice for children and young people, staff, and the wider school community.

Overview:

This workshop builds practical skills for supporting students' emotional regulation in the classroom. Participants learn how stress, overwhelm and neurobiological responses influences behaviour, and how educators can model and scaffold regulation strategies. The session emphasises relational practice, predictable routines and small sustainable adjustments that strengthen a calm, supportive learning environment.

This session covers:

  • The science of regulation and the stress responses,
  • Co-regulation as a core educator practice,
  • Practical strategies for de-escalation and classroom calm,
  • Embedding predictable routines and environmental cues,
  • Supporting students with diverse regulation needs.

The wellbeing Masterclass series supports school leaders, educators and wellbeing teams to build lasting whole-school approaches to mental health and wellbeing. Across four interactive sessions, participants engage with the Be You Framework and evidence-informed strategies that strengthens culture, leadership, policy and classroom practice. Each session is led by experts from headspace National and facilitated by the Be You team.

Focusing on sustainable implementation and measurable impact, the series will support schools to build inclusive environments where children, young people and staff can thrive.
