Consent and Respectful Relationships Education (CRRE) Implementation Support

School Leaders, Wellbeing and Pastoral Care Staff, Coordinators and Teachers.

Overview: The Consent and Respectful Relationships Education (CRRE) measure supports the wellbeing of Australian primary and secondary school students and school communities through supporting investment in expert-developed, high-quality, evidence-based and age-appropriate CRRE.

More Information: CRRE provides opportunities for children and young people to develop, practice and reflect on knowledge, skills, attitudes and behaviours that relate to respectful, equal, safe and non-violent relationships.

Effective CRRE involves the whole school community and is inclusive of a school community’s culture, values, and context.

The AISNT provides ongoing support to all member schools to select and implement age-appropriate, evidence based, contextualised approaches to CRRE which are aligned and integrated with existing relevant approaches, policies and frameworks, including child safety principles.

The Our Watch whole school approach to CRRE and the ACARA Respectful Relationships Curriculum Connection will underpin the support provided to ensure alignment to the national approach.

Schools can work with the CRRE Consultant to:

·       Audit existing practices

·       Develop action plans

·       Access relevant professional learning, tools, resources and

·       Receive ongoing implementation support.
