AISNT hosts Youth Mental Health First Aid Course

Congratulation to all participants who successfully completed the Youth Mental Health First Aid course

At the end of Term 2 a number of participants from our schools completed the Youth MENTAL Health First Aid course, facilitated by Pauline Neil from MHTraining, made possible through a grant for Sabrina’s Reach4Life foundation.  It was an excellent two days of learning with all participants sharing at the end of the course an appreciation of what they had learnt, and their confidence to recognise if a student is developing a mental health problem and be able to assist them to seek and receive help.

In the words of a participant “Brilliant, I’d love more people my school network to do some or all of this training”, and “Good course that every teacher should complete.”
