Independent Schools Teaching Excellence Awards
The newly introduced Teachers Award Ceremony for Independent Schools is a true celebration of the wonderful work undertaken by Teachers and School Staff in our Territory Independent Schools.
As Territorians we are proud of their achievements as they ensure a level of education throughout the Territory which rivals similar schools in southern capitals.
The achievements of awardees are notable. They represent the excellent work with children of our many Independent School Teachers and School Staff who have decided to tackle challenges of education in Australia’s frontiers.
Today, more than ever, sees teaching as a really tough, complex task as the children of our society are prepared for the uncertain future ahead. So often the focus of criticism, as society fails to solve its problems, Teachers and School Staff need full support and affirmation in the tasks they perform as they journey with young people through some of the most sensitive years of their life.
